Aims and Objectives
- Support expertise in HIV care among SHCCIN members by developing and upholding standards in training and care
- Fund, Undertake and support research leading to new knowledge in the field of HIV and related emerging infections
- Generate, apply and disseminate knowledge in the treatment and prevention of HIV and related emerging infections
- Advocate for the rights of people living with HIV and related emerging infections
- Organize meetings, trainings, workshops and conferences on HIV and emerging infections
- Publish periodicals that encourage and support research and new information in HIV medicine
- Support and encourage members to compete for grants and funding for research
- Act as an independent voice of interdisciplinary professionals working in the area of HIV medicine and care.
- Undertake various activities and interactions required to solicit for and raise money in support of the activities of the organisation
